God blessed me with a love of being active for as long as I remember! I started ballet at age 6, gymnastics at age 7, and I have taught in both fields for many years. A ballet instructor suggested I become certified in Pilates while I was teaching at her studio, and I've loved it ever since.
Pilates is a great tool for anyone, it can be done as your main form of workout, or as a complimentary workout to lifting, aerial, dance, gymnastics or any high intensity sport. My Mat Pilates classes focus on core strength and joint stabilization, enhanced by simple, effective stretches to create a balanced, full-body workout. I hope it blesses you as much as it does me!
